Alific (digipak album cover)

I got to work on this project with an old, very mature, band mate of mine on his debut album as Alific. The music ranges from rock, reggae, funk, jam and hip hop to infectious beach style dub rhythms, which were a huge influence on the art direction. The album cover is a mixture of several pieces of my artwork, found textures, photography, illustrations, and clean typography. I was given total creative freedom on this (awesome), and worked with Alific on fine-tuning the details that really brought the package together. The 4 panel digipak album packaging was offset printed on a heavy/matte coated card stock which produced a non-gloss, protective finish. The CD is a 3 color silkscreen, which covers the entire surface.
